natural emulsifier
Based on phospholipids, it forms emulsions with a lamellar structure that mimics the structure of the epidermis (stratum corneum). Phospholipids are organized in the so-called lipid bilayers - as in the epidermis. This structure is ideally bio-compatible with the skin. Forms a soft film on the surface of the epidermis, effectively prevents TEVL – transepidermal water loss. It is an ideal carrier for active substances that are gradually released in the deeper layers of the epidermis.
