It is derived from mature seeds of castor oil plant Ricinus communis growing in Africa. The main component is ricinoleic acid glyceride (80%), but it also contains glycerides of butyric, linoleic, stearic and palmitic acids. It has moisturizing properties, strengthens the hair and improves its elasticity, restores the damaged hair shell and makes it shine.
